Adhering to the "people-oriented" development concept, Sinopec Corp. strictly abides by the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights , the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the Discrimination (Employment and Occupational) Convention , and the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination , and other international covenants and Human Rights Action Plan approved or signed by the Chinese government. The Company strictly implements relevant domestic laws, such as the Labour Law of the People's Republic of China , the Civil Code of the People's Republic of China , the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Minors , the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Women's Rights and Interests , the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Persons with Disabilities , and the Regulations on the Prohibition of Child Labour , and other relevant laws, regulations and policies of other countries where it operates, as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights , the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, and the National Human Rights Action Plan (2021-2025) .
