Technology of Solution Polymerized Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (S-SBR)
S-SBR is synthesized via anionic living polymerization process from styrene and butadiene in low carbon aliphatic hydrocarbon and/or naphthenic hydrocarbon in the presence of organic lithium compound as initiator. A series of S-SBR grades with different properties can be prepared through adjustment in the key structure parameters of the macromolecule.
