SINOPEC Fuel Oil Sales Corporation Limited is a fully-own subsidiary of China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation. Registered on May 27, 2010, the company is responsible for the unified operation and management of the fuel oil business.

With the advantages of SINOPEC’s integrated operations, the Company optimizes markets and resources domestically and internationally, which broadens resource channels, meanwhile promotes fuel oil purchase and distribution. Its extensive marketing network includes branch companies in coastal provinces and municipalities of Tianjin, Shandong, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian and Guangdong as well as regional companies and sales subsidiaries. Sinopec Fuel Oil (Singapore) Company has established specifically to expand international market and sales volume, so as to enhance SINOPEC’s overall global competitiveness. The company has made great efforts to consolidate storage facilities into three categories: distribution storage, central reserve storage and corporational reserve storage. Thus the facilities and supply network have been further improved.

The Company focuses on bonded bunker fuel and has established a regular chain network covering major sea ports including Zhoushan, Ningbo, Shanghai, Xiamen, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Yantai as well as river ports along the Yangtz River. Meanwhile, the company also co-develops its business with ports in Shenzhen, Zhanjiang, Hainan, Rizhao and Dalian through strategic alliance agreements. Bunker fuel supplied to domestic route vessels has been developed simultaneously, including on-water refuelling stations, distribution barges and down-steam wholesalers. The gradually formed bunker distribution network has linked the major ports in China thus ultimately achieve better market share, brand image and market expansion.
