Today marks the 55th #EarthDay, themed “Planet v.s. Plastics.” 🌎

Plastics are not pollutants in nature, however, the mis-management of plastic waste leaked to the nature will lead to long-term adverse impact on the environment. Sinopec, a member of the #AlliancetoEndPlasticWaste, is taking action to reduce, reuse and recycle the plastic waste. The company has pioneered Sinopec RPCC technology, a cutting-edge chemical recycling approach that is leading the pack in recycling and utilization of plastic waste. We’ve also promoted the mechanical recycling of plastic mulch in the farmland, while developing degradable plastics as alternatives in the places where the recycling is difficult and not available.
